Research Interests
I am broadly interested in population genetics, statistics, and conservation biology. I am particularly interested in research in population genetics, and statistics to answer questions closely linked to wildlife conservation and management.
For my Ph.D., I am studying the genetic bases of fitness components in wild bighorn sheep, and I am using simulation modeling approaches to assess the power and accuracy of various methods of estimating the magnitude of inbreeding depression.
